Draft · not final
Privacy
A plain-language draft for internal testing of BigHands Staging. It is not the final text and has not had a legal review.
What BigHands keeps
- Your sign-in: an email address, and Apple or Google if you use them.
- Your first name, an optional last name and an optional photo.
- Your One Thing, its days, and the days you tapped in.
- Who is in Your People and your squads, the invitations and requests between you, and anyone you’ve blocked.
- The BigHands and voice memos your squad sends you.
Who sees what
- Your People see your first name and your photo. Others see at most the initial of your last name.
- Before someone accepts a connection, they see your first name and initials, never your photo.
- Your squad sees whether you tapped in. They see the name of your One Thing only if you share it.
- Your progress and history are yours alone.
- Only you can hear a voice memo sent to you.
What BigHands doesn’t do
No ads, no analytics tools, no tracking across apps or websites, no read receipts, and no access to your contacts. This website sets no cookies and loads nothing from anyone else.
Measurement
BigHands looks at four things, counted weekly from what it already keeps: coming back after a day with no tap-in, how often squads cheer each other on, how often notifications are muted, and whether people keep using it.
A photo you remove
Removing your photo, or removing or blocking someone, stops them seeing it from then on. A copy already on someone’s phone can’t be recalled.
Changes
This policy will change before BigHands is offered to anyone outside testing.
